Welcome to your new class!
In an effort to bring continual improvement to our educational programs, I am pleased to announce a new addition to your classrooms moving forward.
As of August 1, 2016, all instructors will use a standard grading rubric to determine your class participation grade. This rubric will bring much more clarity to how your class participation grade is calculated and further, all classes will use the same rubric to ensure consistency. All of your instructors have been sent this rubric in advance of the class and asked to implement starting with the August 1 course.
The rubric will be available in PDF format under your course syllabus, on the front page of your new course. I encourage you to review this new rubric and to contact your Student Success Coach with any questions.
