Pros and Cons of reading e-mails and classwork on your smart phone!
Smart phones have a lot of advantages but there are some disadvantages that we need to be aware of as well.
Pros
- Quick
- Convenient
- Easily Accessible
Cons
- Not all options/settings are available
- Spelling and grammar often are not accurate
- May not count as attendance
- Layouts and formatting are often distorted
*Accessing Moodle from your smart phone may not count as educational activity and you may be required to log on to a computer.
Why does it matter?
Any student can easily overlook or misread a message if not reading the material in its intended format.
Quick Tip: After reading messages on your phone that need attention- be sure to mark them as unread so that you will be reminded when logging in using a desktop/laptop computer.
