We are pleased to announce a new addition to your Moodle website.
As of November 4, 2019, your Moodle website will have a new chat feature. Through this chat
box, a Valley College team member will be available from 8 a.m. through 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and throughout the weekend on Saturday and Sunday. This
is in addition to your regular contact with your instructor. The
support person will respond to any question as soon as possible, but
please note that some questions will require coordination from your
instructor and coaches
and may not have immediate resolutions. (Please also note that extension
requests must go through your instructor, so please do not send them in
this chat box.) We expect this central chat area will provide you with
more timely and efficient support.
The new
feature will be available on the bottom right hand corner as soon as you
load the Moodle website and will look like the below picture.
This
feature will be available for all current students, brand new enrolling
students, and graduates working in certification workshops. We encourage
you to review this new feature and to contact
your Student Success Coach with any questions.
