Slow Cooker Cajun Chicken Alfredo
Ingredients:

1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 cups heavy cream

2 tablespoons butter

14.5 ounce chicken broth

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

1 teaspoon paprika

3 cloves garlic minced

1 cup frozen peppers and onions

14 ounces andouille sausage sliced into rounds

1 pound penne pasta

1 ½ cups shredded parmesan

Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:

Add the chicken, cream, butter, broth, and seasonings to the slow cooker. Stir in the garlic, peppers, onions, and sausage. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 hours or LOW for 4 hours.

Remove and slice the chicken.

Add the pasta to the slow cooker, stir, and cook for 30 minutes until tender.

Return the chicken, add parmesan, season if needed, and stir to combine.

Garnish with parsley and serve.
