Valentine's Memories!

"The biggest memory I have is when I was growing up, we would take our homework for two weeks and go to Florida for Valentines Day. We got to go to the Daytona 500, the beach, and Disney World. It was so cool to get to see everything decorated at Disney, and I remember going shopping in Florida for Valentines Day... The most important memory to me now, is that every year since my kids were little, I would decorate brown lunch bags with hearts, fill them with candy and small toys for my kids, and make them open them at the same time. Now, since they are older, the girls get tickets to Disney On Ice in their bags every year, and this year my son will get a Roku, since he isn't into the whole Disney On Ice thing."   ~Rebecca England

Every year since I can remember, my dad buys a box of chocolates for each of his children.   When I was young, I would take a nibble out of each one to see what they were.   One year my sister Stacie and I, had a competition to see who could get their box of candy to last the longest.   Now that I think about it, that sounds disgusting because we were still eating on it in Summer! haha! =)  But at the time it was pure sibling rivalry (even with Valentine's Chocolates! haha!)    ~Shelly Smith
