Ingredients:
- · 3 lbs ground meat (pork, beef, sausage)
- · 9 oz oven-ready lasagna noodles
- · 1 lb pasta sauce
- · 4 lbs shredded cheese
- · Garlic powder
- · Onion powder
- · Dried parsley
- · Italian seasoning
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Brown the Meat:
On medium heat, brown the ground meat in a pan. Once browned, drain any excess fat.
Season the Meat:
While browning the meat, season it with garlic powder and onion powder to taste. This adds a flavorful kick to the meat.
Layering:
Start layering the lasagna in a baking pan. Begin with a layer of uncooked lasagna noodles, followed by a layer of seasoned browned meat, shredded cheese, pasta sauce, dried parsley, and Italian seasoning. Repeat this layering process until all your ingredients are used up.
Covering:
Once all the layers are in place, cover the baking pan tightly with plastic wrap (Saran wrap) and then with aluminum foil.
Baking:
Place the covered pan in the preheated oven and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.
Check Noodles:
After 45 minutes, carefully pull out the pan and check the doneness of the noodles. If they are not completely soft, tighten the aluminum foil and plastic wrap, then return the pan to the oven for an additional 10 minutes or until the noodles are fully softened.
Serve and Enjoy:
Once the noodles are cooked to perfection, remove the pan from the oven. Carefully uncover it, and serve up your flavorful and aromatic homemade lasagna.
